Sometimes, animals in need of TLC will go to foster homes.  These might be kittens or puppies too young to be adopted immediately, an animal in need of a more lengthy recovery period from surgery or one needing to learn some manners through training in the home environment.  If you have room in your heart and home, you can help us expand our services and save more animals!  We are always in need of great foster parents. The length of commitment varies; some animals only require a couple of weeks, some require a few months. Foster a pet today!

The Belmont County Animal Rescue League may need your help. We often need volunteers to help with everything from staffing special events to working on creative projects. Whether it’s applying your communications, writing or event planning skills, we have numerous and meaningful ways for you to volunteer at the Belmont County Animal Rescue League.

Adopt an animal currently being fostered by Belmont County Animal Rescue League and give a homeless cat, dog or other animal a safe and loving place to live. By adopting, you’re saving not just one life, but two: the animal you adopt and the animal who can take its place in our shelters! Read on for details about required paperwork for adoption, fees, FAQs and more.

All of the animals’ behavioral and medical health has been carefully screened by our experienced veterinarians and fosters. Our investment in our animals includes learning their personalities so that we can help you find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle.
