Wedding Favors

In lieu of traditional favors for your guests, you can add special meaning to your wedding by making a donation to Belmont County Animal Rescue League. It’s a gracious way to thank your guests for their attendance while ensuring homeless pets will be cared for until they find their new homes.

DIY Fundraisers

Belmont County Animal Rescue League is grateful for the generosity and support of people and organizations throughout the community. Often, people spend their own time, money, and effort organizing a fundraiser to benefit our Shelter and programs.  These fundraisers vary in type and size, but include lemonade stands, car washes, birthday parties, and more.

Youth Can Help

Inspiring youth to connect with the community through charity is an investment in a kinder, more humane future. Funds raised by students and community groups enable Belmont County Animal Rescue League to provide a safe haven for abused and neglected animals.  Below are just a few projects that students and groups can do to raise funds to help animals in our community.

Sales

• Hold a bake sale or lemonade stand in your neighborhood.

• Gather up some dusty toys and clothes and hold a rummage sale or yard sale.

• Make your own pet treats or toys and sell them to friends, families and neighbors.

 

Group Projects
These fun challenges can be held by a class, scout troop, whole school or as a competition between classes or groups.

• Penny Wars or Cash for Critters Students bring in extra pennies to add to their team total, or silver coins to subtract from another team’s total.

• Dress-Up Days Students (and adults!) wear pajamas, jeans or other fun outfits in exchange for a monetary donation or wish list item.

United Way

If your company holds a United Way employee campaign, you can direct your support to Belmont County Animal Rescue League. Belmont County Animal Rescue League strives to improve the lives of all individuals in our community with programs like Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinics, Spay Neuter Assistance Programs, Community Cat TNR and Humane Operations.  To support the community work of Belmont County Animal Rescue League, simply identify BCARL as your charity of choice on your pledge form.

Kroger Community Rewards

The Kroger Co. Family of Stores supports local organizations in our community.  Did you know you can support BCARL just by shopping at Kroger? It's easy when you enroll in Kroger Community Rewards! To get started, sign up with your Plus Card at https://www.kroger.com/account/enrollCommunityRewardsNow/ and select Belmont County Animal Rescue League. Once you're enrolled, you'll earn rewards for your BCARL every time you shop and use your Plus Card!

 

And remember…all participants must re-enroll each year to continue earning rewards for their chosen organization.  Belmont County Animal Rescue League Community Rewards organization number is YI143 for easy enrollment.
